The outlook from climate models shows that extreme weather events are expected to continue in the next decades, which intensifies the need to improve the adaptability of infrastructure and social systems to a changing climate. Natural disaster management requires responsibility, organisation and collaboration, which is impossible to achieve without the key contribution of innovation and technology.<\/p>\n

Taking into account the scale of the disasters, but also the global nature of the problem, it is necessary to identify solutions that enhance cooperation between the main natural disaster management bodies, companies operating in the field, as well as specialised research centers. Technically and economically feasible and acceptable results can be achieved and the challenges of the international, highly competitive market can be met only by the joining of forces of the key operators.<\/p>\n
