Member Short Description
The Environmental Research Laboratory (EREL) of INRASTES is an established RTO combining complementary expertise in atmospheric research and environmental decision support systems with important research potential. EREL follows an integrated R&D approach to environment and climate, contributing to environmental protection and sustainable development in regional and global terms. R&D in climate change and regional models, dynamical downscaling, prognostic – diagnostic meteorology and data assimilation, CFD modelling, decision support systems, dispersion of air pollutants, air quality, atmospheric aerosol and heavy metal pollution, integrated with advanced risk analysis and impact assessments are subjects of major research focus.
